MATHS
This week for maths we did some maths buddy and and on maths buddy we did  some test for speed, area and volume,time and units of measure I found the speed the hardest.

This week for literacy we did a journal contract  and for this we had to read some story and answer the question that we got given in detail

The big day out

The big day is when we all go on a fun day this year we  went to the movies,the pool and the new recreation center.
The movie

The movie we went and watched was petes dragon and I really liked it because it was lots of different feelings to it .

The recreation center. 

The recreation center was very fun and we won every game but one. There was four rotations The first one we did was basket ball then we did badminton. Badminton was very hard to do because it was very hard to hit the thing with a small racket. for cricket we had to get as many points as we can.

 For swimming I was with Bodie and we went in the pool and he was on my shoulders and then we went on the The hydro slide.

Dear Mum and Dad

I hope that you are both ok. I am missing home and hoping that the war will be over soon so I can return.

War in Gallipoli is so fierce. Bullets are flying all day. One of the soldiers in my unit just got hit. I ran over to him and we wrapped up his leg to try and stop it from bleeding. We got him to a medic back at the camp. He was taken to surgery straight away but sadly he did not make it.

I have not been hit yet  but there has been a few close calls.  The frontline is getting closer each day.

Thank you for sending the package from home with the biscuits in it and the letters from all of my friends and family. I really look forward to getting mail it helps me get through the days here.

I miss you all and look forward to hearing from you again soon.

This week for reading I did not do a new activity because we had to finish all of our work from last week as it was unfinished.
We had to do our  Peter Rabbit follow up but I did my coggle and Peter Rabbit.

Walt: describing a mythical creature  This week we had to choose one activity out of 12 so I chose number 4 and for that you had to draw a mythical creature. I did my one on paper and I named it Jack.

Literacy T4W3 reflection

This week I had to do a coggle on my favorite book. I chose to do it on The Recruit. I found doing the coggle hard because I did not know how to use coggle.  But with time I learnt how to use coggle and it got easy.

This week for literacy we had to make any type of presentation to show what authors purpose means.  I found this easy because we can use other work to do it. The work I did put in was my reading follow up from week 6.

reflection week8

 Word work 

This week we had to do word work. This is my word work that I did.

Maths 

For 24x5 I put 20 x 6 in the bracts and for the second bract I did 4x6 Then I put in 120 then 24 then i added all of them up and  got added up and it equals 144. 

Writing 

This week we had to improve our writing and I had to put in more punctuation.

This week we had to fill in all of these question and explain what we  think of it.

This week we did a reference for the partner on the recording that we did last week for maths and my partner was kaede. I thought kades recording was very clear and easy to understand. I learnt how to pair eases  my partner. Next time I will got to a quiet place.

 

Reading 

This week for reading  we had to do some sequence  games.  We had to sequence the Cinderella story and this is my result of sequence with game one.














On the 2nd game it was a little bit harder to do so I did not do so well on it.


Writing 
This week we had to do some more writing on our Charlotte's web article.

Writing 
This week we had to do a piece of writing that was like a a news paper article on Charlotte’s web  I had to use punctuation because that is my goal.

Numeracy 
This week we had to create a screencastify. By using web paint we had to do a equation and work it out with rounding and compensating. We had to explain the process in our screencastify.







Reading 
This week we had to do punctuation I found this very hard to do. We played a punctuation game where we had to add the correct punctuation. I enjoyed playing this but found it challenging.

The All Blacks may have just won the Rugby World Cup but they have also won the support of quite a few celebrity fans!

Ahead of the big final the boys in black received some words of support from some well-known stars as well as congratulations on their record-breaking win!

Celebrities including Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, David Hasselhoff, Russell Crowe, Snoop Dogg, One Direction’s Niall Horan, Lorde, Justin Bieber and even Prince Harry (after England was eliminated) are just some of the stars who are backing black.

Looks like the All Blacks are winners in everyone’s eyes!
